Our experience with Up Pageantry has been an amazing one! Not only for my daughter but our entire family. We have all gotten the opportunity to participate in community events and community service to benefit our community and enrich our lives as well. Tami has been beyond generous with her time, knowledge, community contacts, wardrobe, and kindness. She has lifted up my daughter’s confidence and spirit, and helped her learn to command herself in interviews and difficult conversations with poise. I just want to thank you so much for being so warm and inviting to our girls and especially wanted to tell you how excited and how happy (our daughter) was. It kind of makes me tear up because as much dedication as we had to (a different pageant company), we never really felt welcomed or warmed, and when you asked (our daughter) to come on stage and help as a past queen she didn’t stop talking about it at all last night and she was so elated, she said mom “I felt like I was actually wanted and welcomed as a  past queen”, because there’s always the favorites, as you know in (the other organization) and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart…I’m sorry I’m getting emotional, but it means the world to our family. Tami, I honestly don’t know where to begin. You have no idea how much you and this pageant and all the girls involved in it mean to me. It’s incredible how you cope with all the stress of putting together this pageant and the events but you sure do a great job at it. This pageant has given me so much and I don’t know what I would do without it. Every single person here has made such an impact on me and I’ve learned so much from them, I don’t know what I would do without the friendships I have made.. This pageant has taught me so much about myself and it’s helped me get through so much and I’m grateful and lucky for you Kirk, Alora, and the others for everything you do for these amazing young women and myself. It was my privilege to observe Up Pageantry first hand their commitment to a memorable experience for everyone involved.  As a former Placer County Deputy D.A., Director Tami Uhler utilizes her professional, extensive and valuable connections in the community for the benefit of all participants in Up Pageantry. She and her staff is diligently committed to providing young and mature women the opportunities and experiences to grow and develop a multitude of life skill- sets. My daughter, Emily DeMure was honored to serve under Up Pageantry as Miss Placer County 2017. Ever since I first spoke to you, I knew that you were going to be a funny, supportive, and caring person. 2017 Contestant

Being part of Up pageantry has taught me so many valuable life lessons. Up has provided me with opportunities to go out in the community and participate/ be involved with Placer County! It has also provided me with a family. Everyone works hard to make rehearsals fun and efficient. You learn how to walk, sit, speak, and present yourself with confidence. Tami has especially made me feel welcome to the program by going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I remember talking on the phone asking hundreds of questions that she was more than welcome to answer. Additionally, It was great to have access to all the materials I could possibly need in order to feel prepared for pageant night. Up pageantry is the only program I can think of that gives out sample questions to its contestants. Up even held a resume workshop for interview purposes to help young women in the professional world. I've loved Up; would highly recommend as an option for young women interested in pageantry!

Thank you Tami, Rachel, Gail, Kirk and Up Pageantry: I want you all to know that this has been such a great experience for my daughter. This was my first pageant with this group and it was so exiting.  All the girls are so kind and welcoming and fun to hang out with. The appearances we make were so cool and fun to be at. The pageant itself is very transparent. I love how they let you see your score so you know where you can improve.

Starting pageants at age seven and now continuing into my adult years, I have never come across a pageant system as wonderful as Up Pageantry. The staff and director Tami Uhler run an amazing program. Up Pageantry is transparent, honest, and the staff is kind and encouraging. I have never experienced a pageant staff as dedicated as Tami Uhler and her staff. They not only coach us on walking, they also teach us valuable interview skills as well.  Also, the women that I have met here are so kind and encouraging. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to run for Ms. Placer County 2018. I strongly recommend any young lady to join this pageant family! It’s loving, encouraging and supportive. In my opinion Up Pageantry is the premier pageant system in all of Placer County!

UP Pageantry is truly one in a million. Two years ago, I decided to enter in UP Pageantry’s annual Placer Country Pageant. It was one of the best experiences in my entire life and opened so many opportunities for me, including competing and winning at both the state and national level- all from the skill set and practice that UP instilled in me. I love this pageant so much that I decided to come back this year as part of the staff team. I’ve learned how devoted this team really is and that the motivation for EVERYTHING they do is to create a memorable and life-changing experiences. It was amazing to see the progress each and every girl, of any age, made, and it was eye-opening to know that the work I was doing was really making a difference in someone’s life. The experience you get when competing under UP Pageantry is one that you won’t find anywhere else. I know this team has transformed my life in countless ways and I hope many more people get to have the same experience that I have had. If you’re looking to enter pageantry, to try something new, or simply to just have a great time, this is the place for you.

This was my first pageant and boy, do I wish I would’ve done this years ago because it’s been one of the best experiences of my life.  I found the most amazing, talented, funny, and beautiful (inside and out) group of girls.  They were so welcoming with open arms, and I very quickly found a fantastic group of friends.  Even quicker than that I was accepted into this ever-loving family that supports each other, share smiles, and laughter, and creates like a sisterhood.  I feel so blessed to have stumbled upon this and will forever cherish all that I’ve learned here, everything that I have experienced, and all the phenomenal people that I have had the pleasure of meeting.  All of this and so much more created the perfect first pageant and I am forever grateful crowned or not, to being the proud, confident woman that I’ve become.  Once again, thank YOU soooo much for an amazing first pageant and electing me for the Spirit Award! I'm so blessed to have met you and everyone else, it was definitely a life-changing experience :) Even my mom thought it was one of the most professional and beautifully put together stage productions she's ever seen! Being a former high school football coach I had no idea what being asked to judge a beauty pageant would be like. No slobbering, hitting and huddles. How can I judge this? All that I knew is that if Tami Uhler and her husband Kirk were involved it was going to be top notch. I am happy to report that the young ladies and the Uhlers did not disappoint. I learned what goes on behind the scenes and how hard these girls work to compete. From the difficult interview process, to the character building lessons, the posing, the dances and most of all the lifelong friendships these young ladies pushed through during the difficult judging phase - IT WAS AMAZING! I would highly recommend this pageant to anyone who wants their young lady to grow their professional portfolio while learning leadership, employment skills, friendship skills, poise and pride. Both of our daughters participated in the Miss Placer County Pageant (Teen and Jr.) and it was an amazing experience. The coaching was very helpful for both girls. It was a very constructive and positive environment. From the first practice to the last, both of my daughters had so much confidence and poise. They also have refined interview skills and a great resume with the help of the coaching team, as well as proper communication skills. Going into my first pageant, the only expectation I had was stereotypes & Toddlers & Tiaras. However, this pageant has completely changed my opinion.  I can truly say that pageantry is one of the most fun things I’ve ever done.  I’ve met so many AMAZING friends and have learned so much-especially about myself. Not only have I stepped out of my comfort zone, I’ve gained so much confidence along the way.  If I could give any advice, it would be to try this pageant and don’t let stereotypes or crazy TV shows keep you from trying something new. It has been and amazing adventure-you’ll LOVE it!
